This Privacy Policy describes how NotesGlider ("Application," "we," "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our service. NotesGlider is a document automation tool that processes presentation slide files to generate structured PDF newsletters, compilations, and mindmaps with Google Drive integration.

By signing in and using NotesGlider, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Account & Authentication

NotesGlider requires authentication via Google OAuth to function. Sign-in is mandatory because the Application's core workflow depends on accessing your Google Drive.

When you sign in with Google, we receive:

• Your name and email address (for account identification and display purposes)
• An OAuth access token (to interact with Google Drive on your behalf)

We do not receive or store your Google account password.

3. Google Drive Access — What We Access and Why

NotesGlider requests the following Google permissions to deliver its core functionality:

If any required permission is not granted, the Application will clearly flag which features are unavailable and prompt you to re-authorize.

4. Data We Process

During an active workflow session, we temporarily process:

• The .pptx file you upload or select (for text and image extraction)
• Markdown content generated from your slides (for editing and PDF generation)
• Images extracted from your slides (for embedding in your documents)
• Optional YouTube video URLs you provide (for embedding in your PDFs)

This data is processed in a temporary session folder and is not retained on our servers after your session is complete and your output files have been delivered to your Drive.

5. Data We Store

We persistently store:

• Your Google account name and email address (for authentication and session management)
• Records of your completed workflows (file names, dates, completion status) for audit and continuity purposes
• No raw slide content, document text, or images are stored persistently on our servers

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or any other purpose.

We interact with the following third-party services on your behalf, solely to deliver the Application's functionality:

• Google LLC — Authentication (OAuth), Drive storage, Docs creation, and File Picker
• WeasyPrint (self-hosted) — PDF rendering, executed within our own backend infrastructure

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical measures to protect your data including encrypted connections (HTTPS), token-based authentication, and temporary session isolation. However, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use strong credentials for your Google account.

8. Children's Privacy

NotesGlider is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the Application, please contact us immediately.

9. Your Rights & Controls

You may at any time:

• Revoke NotesGlider's access to your Google account via Google Account Permissions
• Request deletion of your account data by contacting us at the address below
• Stop using the Application at any time

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date above. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
