Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NotesGlider ("Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Application.

2. Description of Service

NotesGlider is a document automation web application that:

• Extracts and structures text and images from PowerPoint (.pptx) files
• Generates branded PDF newsletters, weekly compilations, and monthly magazines
• Creates interactive mindmaps from structured Markdown content
• Syncs processed documents and assets to your Google Drive

The Application requires a Google account and explicit authorization of Google Drive permissions to function.

3. Account & Authentication

To use NotesGlider, you must:

• Sign in using a valid Google account via Google OAuth
• Grant the permissions requested during the authorization flow

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. NotesGlider is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized access to your Google account.

4. Permitted Use

You agree to use NotesGlider only for lawful purposes. You may use the Application for:

• Personal productivity and content creation
• Educational material preparation and distribution
• Internal organizational knowledge management

You may not use NotesGlider to:

• Process, distribute, or republish content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Application
• Use the Application in a manner that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Application or its infrastructure

5. Google Services & Third-Party Access

NotesGlider integrates with Google Drive, Google Docs, and the Google File Picker API on your behalf. By using the Application, you acknowledge:

• Your use of Google services through NotesGlider is additionally governed by Google's Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy
• NotesGlider accesses your Google Drive solely to deliver the functionality you have requested
• You may revoke NotesGlider's Google access at any time via your Google Account settings

6. Intellectual Property

All rights in the NotesGlider Application — including the interface, branding, extraction algorithms, and PDF templates — belong to the Service Provider or its licensors.

The content you process through NotesGlider (slides, documents, images) remains entirely your own. You retain full ownership of all input files and all output documents generated from your content.

7. No Warranty

The Application is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The Service Provider does not warrant that the Application will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that all output documents will be free of defects.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of documents, or loss of business — arising from your use of or inability to use the Application, even if the Service Provider has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. User Content & Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content of the files you process through NotesGlider. You represent and warrant that:

• You have the rights to use and process all files you upload or select
• Your use of the Application does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Your content does not contain material that is unlawful, harmful, or violates applicable law

10. Suspension & Termination

The Service Provider reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Application at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in any conduct that the Service Provider reasonably determines to be harmful to the Application, other users, or any third party.

11. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. When changes are made, the Effective Date above will be updated. Continued use of the Application after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
